About Cordell L Willis Photography :My first passion while growing up was art with a simple pencil and paper. I was actually quite good at it. Proof to this is the numerous awards and scholarships I received when I was entering college. As for photography, I happened upon it because it was a required course while I studied graphic design. Photography was a fluke because I wanted to "create my own" art with my hands. After more exposure to photography I began to see the artistic side of it and my passion grew from there. For me photography has grown into an exciting career. In addition to photographing events for organizations such as The Detroit Host Super Bowl Committee and portfolio pictures for various local actors/models, I have worked with numerous couples to help make their day special by capturing the moments as they occur. My eyes are always on the artful moments of the days events.

Today's Photographer : With the advancement of digital photography everyone is a "photographer". However, everyone is not an artist with the tool of the camera. Many people think that a good camera means good wedding or portrait photographs. It's unfortunate that many weddings, corporate events, and even portfolios for models are now being photographed by your everyday person due to digital. Why? Because after the photographs are captured the statement is often made that "we should have hired a professional". With a deep passion for satisfaction I serve as an artist to your event. My goal is to always provide an end product that will be cherished for years to come.
